Anusha Merchant, a senior at The Mount Vernon School, currently serves as the Co-President of the SASS Mount Vernon Chapter. She is passionate about global citizenship and the social and political sciences. Along with SASS, Anusha serves as President of the Mount Vernon Girls Who Code Club, Girl Talk High School Mentor, and Girl Up Community Leader. Currently, she is working on creating a personal menstruation curriculum, It's Just A Period, for menstruators in Pakistan and works as a Community Engagement Intern at the ACLU of Georgia.

David Adkins is a junior at The Mount Vernon School, currently serving as the Co-President of the SASS Mount Vernon Chapter. Along with SASS, David participates on the Varsity Baseball Team, is Vice-President of Bridging the Gap, a club that serves the refugee community of Clarkston, Georgia, and is a part of the Mount Vernon Publications team. He spends his free time either playing sports or serving the Mount Vernon community and cannot wait for what the future has planned for him.

Meg Brooks has been teaching Literature and Humanities at The Mount Vernon School for four years. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Chicago, and an M.A. from the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury. She has designed courses on the Harlem Renaissance, macabre and Gothic literature, and U.S. history through the lens of music, and has been a facilitator for SASS since its inception. She also enjoys writing music in her free time!
